Fans of Dancing with the Stars will not have to wait too long for their show to return to the air. Due to the writer’s strike, ABC announced that the next season of the show will be set to premiere on March 17th.
Of course that does not give the show’s producers very long to find eager new contestants. It will also not give any returning professionals too much time off between the end of the tour and the start of the new season. It also makes it less likely that fan favorite Julianne Hough will return this season, considering how hard at work she is on her new album.
If you cannot wait until March to get your DWTS fix, don’t forget that judges Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli’s new show will debut in January. On Monday January 7, Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann will premiere at 8:00 p.m. eastern time.
